In order to be successful in this role, you will at least need the following:

Functional programming concepts
Gradle and multi-module projects
Architectural patterns – CLEAN, MVVM vs MVP
Android architecture components
Kotlin + Kotlin ktx, Android Jetpack, Coroutines
Rest APls, JSON and serialized data
AndroidX, Material Design, Theming + Styling views
The trade-offs when using third party libraries
